Alright.... that moment has come. You know... the moment all parents face.....I was trying to help Haley with a school project and got stumped.... The task was to find a word that starts with "e" and ends with "v". Anyone? Anyone?

Ok this is a stretch because I am using the internet at a reliable source, but according to this kidzone/kindergarten website, there aren't any words that end in V
http://www.kidzone.ws/kindergarten/letterv.htm
But I found another site that gave me a little more hope:
The following rules for English spelling have very few exceptions:
2. English words do not end with the letter v. (gave, have)

So there ya go. I've been at work for 2 hours now and this is the most productive thing I have done all morning.
Doug - The only "words" I can think of are abbreviations and nothing in that combination. Perhaps the sound my dog makes when he's protecting his ragged chew toy.
good for brooke looking it up...but Kyle asked me yesterday and I told him words don't end in v without even lookign it up...I told him my brain storage compartment of english skills told me so.
I guess that's what happens when you go to school at Granite City.
As for my sister not trusting my intelligence, I knew words didn't end in V from my wonderful English teachers (who she also had), but I thought you would need better justification than, "Brooke says so"
